27th July 2018, New Delhi: A National Seminar on “Purification of River water of MAA Ganga” was held on 27th July 2018 at India International Center New Delhi. This Seminar was held by “Indian Association of Japan” in association with “Confederation of NGOs of India”. Dr. Bhure Lal chairman of Environment Monitoring Committee, appointed by Supreme Court was the chief guest of the seminar. Dr, Bhure Lal in his address told in details to the audience about the problems of River Water of MAA Ganga in Ganga. The Seminar was the brainchild of Dr. Sanjay Mehrotra, President of Association of Japan. Dr. Mehrotra was accompanied by River scientists & Mr. Naofumi Hishinum and Toshiyuki Takeo from Japan.
The Japanese Expert has presented “Bubble Technology” for natural purification and Rejuvenation of Rivers. This process will purify the water of various rivers in India in a natural way. Dr. Sanjay Mehrotra, President of Association of Japan, who is in Japan from last 25 years is a teacher and doing a commendable job for the provision of pure water. Shri Sudarshan Sareen, President of Confederation of NGOs of India in his welcome address appreciated the effort of Dr. Sanjay Mehrotra and Shri Sanjeev Mehrotra for taking this pious cause of MAA Ganga. Shri Kamal Taori, Petron of Confederation of NGOs of India who was guest of Honour stress the need to be practical in this matter and every citizen of India should do this work for MAA Ganga.
The Invited Delegates and guest have appreciated the technology very much. The expert proposed to use this technology for cleaning the water of MAA Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati before “Kumb Mela 2019” in Prayag, Allahabad. Around 40% population of our country is habituated of the river banks would be benefited.
A MoU between the Indian Association of Japan and Confederation of NGOs of India was signed to promote the Japanese technology for the all-around development of the country. Dr. Sanjay Mehrotra, President of Indian Association of Japan & Shri Sudarshan Sareen, President of Confederation of NGOs of India Signed the MoU. The seminar was also addressed by Lt General P. K. Sehgal (Retd) call upon to involve Ex-Serviceman of the country in this noble task.
The meeting was also attended by Shri Vijay Khurana, Secy. General of Confederation of NGOs of India, Dr. Brajnandan Ji Maharaj, Dev Ashram Trust, Varanasi, Shri Babu Nair Director, Hydrogeology, National Mission for Clean Ganga, Shri R. N Jindal, Director, Ministry of Environment, Govt. of India and Shri Subhash Kochhar noted Philanthropist of India. The seminar was attended by different organizations of India.
