The Policy Times (https://thepolicytimes.com), a New Delhi based Media and Mewat Engineering College, Haryana Waqf Board, Government of Haryana has signed an MoU. The Policy Times will be “Global Media Partner” working as a strategic Think Tank and content Development partner effectively helping Mewat Engineering College in designing and implementing appropriate strategic framework in brand building and industry-Academia linkages invariably supporting in admissions, internship, placements. The MoU was signed on 25th June, 2019 between Dr Ladlay Khan, the-then Officiating Director, Mewat Engineering College and Mr. Akram Hoque, Founder Director, The Policy Times in presence of Dr Hanif Qureshi, Inspector General of Police & Chief Executive Officer, Haryana Waqf Board, Government of Haryana.

The Policy Times would arrange a range of activities to help the College with “Global Outreach” such as Ambassadors Visits and Address to College    students and faculty members, regular lectures by international experts (Academicians, Industry representatives, Parliamentarians, etc.) and exchange with Foreign students in India.

Since The Policy Times has significant expertise in events management and policy research, Mewat Engineering College in partnership with The Policy Times will organize regular Technical Conferences on all streams including Civil engineering, Computer science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communications, Electrical Engineering, Applied Sciences and Humanities where we will bring industry to the college and involve college faculty members and students in similar outside events.

The Policy Times will also work with various teams of the College – Admission Team to increase admission and run effective social media and outdoor campaigns to increase admissions; Management to improve academic infrastructure only related to industry interface and student welfare; Placement Team for internship, student engagements with industry through events and related activities and facilitate placements.

The partnership is for shall be valid for two year and extendable to three years.

Mewat Engineering College is one of the top engineering colleges in Haryana. It has fully furnished laboratories with modern equipment, spacious classrooms, Central Workshop, Computer Centre, Language Lab, and tutorial rooms. The College has a computerized Central Library with Labware software working on OPAC module and has more than 18000 volumes and extends book bank facilities to students.

The campus is Wi-Fi enabled and the facility is also available in the hostel. Power backup has been provided in the College as well as in the hostel. Students staying in the neighboring areas and those living in the cities like Gurgaon, Delhi etc utilize transport facilities provided by the College.
