Dr. Nazimuddin FarooquiWhy The United Allied Arab Gulf Forces are Facing Defeat

(Scholar, columnist, opinion leader, and a social worker)

The Yemeni ‘Houthi’ rebel drone attack on Aramco oil reserves in Saudi Arabia has
destroyed in recent days more than 30% of all oil reserves. The Houthis detained several
hundred Saudi soldiers this month. As a result of which Saudi Arabia was forced to release
its Houthi prisoners in exchange for their own captives with Houthi rebel forces. This is a
tragic turn of the five-year war on Yemen. It seems that the Allied Forces of the Gulf have been badly defeated against the Houthis.

For the past 7 years, the Allied Gulf Forces have been fighting in Yemen, with the latest
weapons against the Houthis and rebel tribes. The land and the air force pushed it to the
maximum extent to gain victory in Yemen, but still, no signs of success have been seen.
Millions of people are starving due to severe food shortages and the country is devastated.
“Yemen” is a poor Arab country, with Yemenis having centuries-old ties and relations with
the Saudis, instead of negotiating and resolving differences through the “Dialogue” the war was imposed on ‘Yemen’ that has resulted in Allied Gulf Forces of the Arabs affected badly by the inevitable war. The ‘Houthis’ who fought the close and unarmed
guerrilla warfare is slamming the Saudi forces on every front.

Without the will to fight, with the purchased weapons and rented soldiers, a war can never be won, no matter how wealthy & rich the country is.

There are 190 countries in the world, among them Saudi Arabia, which has a population of
30.5 million people, has emerged as the largest buyer of modern weapons in the world. Saudi Arabia purchased $110 billion worth of weapons in 2017 and has signed a contract with the United States for the purchase of weapons worth $350 billion over the next ten years, according to Lockheed Martin, “52% of all US arms sales is going to Saudi Arabia.”

Lockheed Martin says that only $1.5 billion worth of weapons has been provided so far. European countries have stopped selling weapons to Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries,
considering the situation in Yemen.

Saudi Arabia has always had a leadership role to play in the world of Islam, as Muslims have two of the three holy places of Islam in Saudi Arabia and it is the land of the Holy Quran and Prophet Muhammad SAWA. However, the purpose of the family rule of Al-Saud was not the establishment of Islam. This country was not formed on the basis of any Islamic foundations or long-standing demands of Muslims. Al-Saud has always given Islamic teachings its first importance and helped most of the poor Muslim nations and nations with its treasures. They always were engaged in exhausting their energies in obedience to world powers and in the persuasion of the cause of Muslims. Since the last period of Malik Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, great changes in Saudi Arabia’s foreign policy began to take place. Their deep ties with the United States and Israel began to give priority to their happiness & satisfaction.

Saudi Arabia formally changed its pro-Arab and Pro-Muslim policy. Directly adopting the
harmful policy of world powers, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, like Syria, Iraq,
Egypt and other Arab countries, has left no effort to implement the pro-Western policy by separating Islam from the Arabs. In a bid to say good-bye to national traditions, the ‘Flood Gate’ has been opened for the Saudi’s of evils; no nation can achieve development only through dance, music, and pub culture. The Saudis had their own religious traditions, all the energy of their government was focused on destroying them and introducing the21st Century Modern Saudi Arabia without education training & development.

Saudi Arabia was defeated repeatedly in the indirect war of Iran in neighboring Arab
countries. In Iraq, where more than 2 million Sunni Muslims were massacred in which the
The United States was directly involved, in Syria forced migration of 15 million Syrian people with the help of Russia and continued to kill millions of innocent civilians of Arab origin for many years.

The complete country of Syria has been turned into a ruin;

Saudi Arabia couldn’t do anything against all that except watching as a silent spectator. Syria, Iraq, Lebanon are out of reach of Iran despite it Iran has complete control over these Arab countries. Several of the Arab countries have shown their displeasure with the Saudi Lead war on Yemen and have deviated from the policy to build relations with Iran.

Arab countries have been suffering from massive political, military, economic, crisis for the
past 4 decades. On the one hand, the Arab leadership was crushed and on the other hand, its rulers were destroyed by waging war against their own population. Such wars and civil wars have greatly affected the image of Arabs before the world. It has been globally recognized that the mutual malice and arbitrary tribal and territorial confrontation between the Arabs and the lack of wise political decision-making have made the Arabs a laughing stock on the global level.

The 22 Arab countries have a population of more than 350 million Arabs, their rulers, kings, dictators have always considered their ‘Acme’ in slavery and servitude to world powers. The world powers which have been intermittently occupying the Arab world for the past century have been exposed to the world. World powers gave them independence but, in military, economic, diplomatic and foreign policy, the Arabs still take their dictates from their Global masters. The Palestinian people are fighting for their survival, and the Gulf Kings & rulers have sold out Palestine to Israel under secret deals of stability of their own Kingdoms and governments.

The military dictator Abdul Fattah El Sisi was supported by the Saudi Arabian regime who has ousted the elected and legal government of ‘Mohammad Morsi’, who succeeded in crushing democracy, in Egypt, against the will of the people.

The cruel treatment of the Arab people, the death sentence to the Shi’ite leaders, scholars
and the worst punishments, being given to Sunni religious leaders and scholars in prisons. A year ago, journalist Jamal Khashoggi was brutally murdered in Istanbul.

Due to democracy, the people of Iran are with their religious leaders, Arab people are not
with their Arab rulers. Those Princes like Mohammed Bin Salman do not like this. Arab
rulers have no appreciation & sympathy for Arab sentiments and emotions. A large
majority of Arab people are still IslamistsIn any war ‘Regional Terrain’ is a major factor in deciding the outcome of the war situation, Yemen is the mountainous region where the world’s major forces have always failed. Afghanistan defeated three superpowers in three centuries, Britain in the 19th century.

With a planned approach and patience, if Saudi Arabia had planned to develop ‘Yemen’ in an unprecedented manner with the money which has been spent on the war with Yemen and developed the neighboring country, the name of Saudi Arabia would have gained global recognition. It is alleged that ‘Iran’ has surrounded us through its domination in all the Arabian territories and is taking our territories under its control. That indicates, Iran’s
military, political, diplomatic, tactical intelligence is more logical & wiser than Arabs.

Direction & Objective less Arab war:

If we study and compare the war tactics of ‘Iran’ and ‘Arabs’ then we will find that there is a big difference between the ‘Iran’ and the Arab war objectives. Iran has been engaged in the world, in a meaningful direct and indirect Cold War with its ‘Revolution cry curbed’ for the expansion of its influence in the 8 countries of the region. Iran has a Shia Islamic
ideological agenda for which it has bled all its national capital, military and revolutionary
cadre. While Arabs are engaged in a national fight for the survival of their country & their
government, where their regional racism is more dominant than their religious and national
priorities, the ‘Houthi’ militants have been defeating them on every front repeatedly.

On May 12, 2019, Israel officially annexed & merged it in its territory ‘The Golan Heights’,
Syria’s sensitive ‘Mountains’, covering 690 square kilometers, with the US-endorsing it as
Israeli territory. That did not spark any reaction, neither from Iran nor did Saudi Arabia or
The United Arab Emirates, United Arab leadership, have consistently adopted an anti-Palestinian policy.

When US President announced the transfer of the embassy to ‘Jerusalem’ to Saudi Arabia
extended its full support for the first time, the Arab block began to say that ‘Palestine’ was
an internal matter of Israel. It seems that both Arabs and Iranians have some secret
understanding with Israel, and shortly after that, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu threatened to establish his control over the Jordan Valley. On May 12, 2019, Israel officially annexed & merged it in its territory ‘The Golan Heights’, Syria’s sensitive ‘Mountains’, covering 690 square kilometers, with the US-endorsing it as Israeli territory. That did not spark any reaction, neither from Iran nor did Saudi Arabia or the United Arab Emirates, United Arab leadership, have consistently adopted an anti-Palestinian policy.

How Iran succeeded in Syria and Iraq, Saudi rulers remained silent spectators to the
destruction of innocent Arabs to appease global powers. Iran is neither a neighboring country of Syria nor a majority Shiite population, but Iran destroyed the whole country in order to establish its domination, Syria is now back by 100 years. Today, even a liter of crude is not being produced, in a country that used to produce 5 million barrels a day the government has no money for electricity, water, people are hungry for food and vegetables. Everything that Iran has done in collaboration with the United States in Iraq the world stands witness to that. Only oil-rich countries continue to bow down and prostrate before the world powers; the destruction of the Sunnis is widespread in several Arab countries.

Iran has also made some compromises to the global powers on some level, but why does it
continue to succeed in its goals? It has its own agenda, the belief that is making it successful.

Its political, diplomatic, economic, military, war, policy and sheer smart strategy have made Iran a regional superpower. The Arab people have become aware of this dangerous game and they have said goodbye to the slogan of Arab united nationalism long ago.

The world is much bigger than the US and Israel, Arab rulers must change their
priorities first, then plan for their survival, a strategy must be developed in which the
Islamic world should remain safe and Arab countries can develop without any war. In the
civil war that is going on in Libya, the Gulf countries are plundering their wealth and the
‘Khalifa Haftar’s Militia’, against the government is being strongly supported. What kind of
Arab Oil Rich countries Strategy it is that is difficult to follow; for a country with a
population of just 4million is in a civil war? A country with such a large area of land &
immense, resources of oil wealth at their disposal.

If the Gulf countries were to take the path of security and peace rather than war and conflict, then they could create a strong front against Iran or through dialogue they could end their rivalries on the basis of brotherhood. They should understand that they have the
responsibility to safeguard and develop the Muslim world with the Arab world too, to stand
apart from the Islamic world and to promote or express oneself on the basis of mere Arab
Nationality will never succeed. That is going to lead them to their worst of the worst defeats that ever happened in history.

Superpowers would like the Arabs to continue to engage in an endless civil war between
them, and continue to sell their weapons extensively, so that they never return back to their Islamic wisdom where lies, the peace, and prosperity for Arabs and their neighbors too.

The recent history of global powers stands as a testimony to whoever trusted them was
destroyed and their nations and countries also were destroyed totally, Syria, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, as recent examples are enough for us.

In the 21st century, wars with borrowed or purchased weapons can never be won. The war
will be won only by those who have the modern digital weaponry & industry and their space
control & command system at their disposal.
