On Friday, the Indian Institute of Management in Nagpur declared that with the consulting and IT firms offering a maximum number of jobs to its graduating students, it has achieved 100% placement for the outgoing batch. The average salary package received this year was Rs 13.21 lakh per annum.

Recruiters from various sectors are welcomed by IIM Nagpur. In this year’s final placement, the top recruiters were Bain & Co., Tata power, DHL, Deloitte, Accenture, BNY Mellon, Arcelor Mittal, TVS Motors, ZS Associates, L & T InfoTech, HCL, and Crompton Greaves. The most sought-after sectors were Consulting and IT which was followed by BFSI and consumer goods sectors, with more than 60% of the batch opting for companies in these sectors.
