A humble but visionary thinker named Khademul Islam stood up against all odds and decided to act to ensure that children of Dakshin Dinajpur can avail quality education at their vicinity. The small initiative took shape of BES-AN NOOR MODEL SCHOOL which is now counted among the top-rated schools in West Bengal with an excellent academic track record. It was established in 2003. An Analysis of Class 10 Board exam results of 2020 said 105 students passed with first division out of 120. Of which 64 passed with distinction and 11 got more than 90%. An Analysis of NEET result 2021 said five students qualified and got marks between 560- 625 out of 720.
