This was the first time ever, Aryabhatta College has organized an Internship Fair where companies and NGO’ came to meet and recruit students according to their skills and education. The event was successfully carried out by The Marketing Cell, Placement & Internship Cell of Aryabhatta College.
More than 25 companies including some famous start-ups participated in the fair. Few of them are MTV, Webshuttle, Total Solution Group, Paperboat, Starshield Technologies Pvt Ltd, Woostyle, Paperboat. Unnati NGO, Umeed NGO also participated in the fair.

“This fair increases the choices among the students because students can choose companies according to their taste. As well as students from other colleges can participate and appear along with our students” said Dr. Manoj Sinha, Principal of the Aryabhatta College, University of Delhi.
Official Bearers and Co-ordinator for organizing the Internship fair were Lakshay Israni, Naman Sachdeva, Hitesh Kumar, Seema Rawat and Vaibhav Gupta. The fair was under the supervision and guidance of Dr C. S. Dash, Placement Cell Coordinator and Dr. Ruchi Jain (Assistant Professor, Faculty of Commerce)
The fair grabbed around 500 students from 31 colleges of University of Delhi and 18 institutes of GGS Indrapratha University. After coming into existence in 2014, Aryabhatta college has attracted many big companies such as Bajaj Capital, HCL, Wipro, Convergys, Tommy Hilfiger and Genpact, etc.
“Internships are very important for the students, it gives students a work experience. This internship will provide students to get a work experience and there is a possibility of bargaining for higher packages”, said C.S Dash, Coordinator for Placement and Marketing cell.
