In its first announcement on Wednesday, Finance Minister had announced Rs 3lakh crore collateral-free automatic loan for business, 6700 CR for procuring Agricultural produced, RS 5000 credit facility for street vendors, and others Measurements. This includes the 16 measures announced yesterday. On the second day addressing the media, Sitharaman said that nine steps will be announced where three will be for migrant workers, one for Shishu loan within mudra, one for street vendors, one for housing, one for employment generations largely for tribals and two for small farmers.

The second set of the stimulus package includes,

  • Free food grain supply to all migrants for next two months
  • Provision of 5KG wheat or rice per person and 1KG chana per family every month extended to non-card holders
  • 25 lakh new Kisan credit cards are given, worth of Rs 25,000 crore of total loan limit
  • Rs 11,002 released to Augment SDRF fund
  • 7200 new SHGs formed for the Urban Poor have been formed during the last two months
  • 25L new Kisan cards sanctioned in 2 months
  • 3CR farmers have availed 4L CR credit
  • In pipeline: ESIC coverage for migrants
  • RS 3500 CR to be spent on free food grains
  • Government to implement national portability card scheme “one nation one ration”, 67 crore people in 23 states to benefit; migrant families will be able to access food in other states through this program
  • AMBIT of Insurance cover Extended
  • Government to support nearly 50 lakh street vendors with Rs 5000 crore Special Credit Facility
  • Initial working capital of 10000 for vendors
  • PDS ration card portability
  • Rs 30,000 crore additional liquidity for farmers through NABARD
