Bangladesh wants to see itself as a trade and investment partner of Oman, said Ambassador Mizanur Rahman during a call with Mr. Sheikh Mohmed Al Shanfri, Chief of West Asia Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Oman today. Ambassador Rahman also said that this is high time the two brotherly countries’ relations enter this new phase. The Omani Chief of the West Asia Department agreed to boost relations in areas of bilateral politics, trade, investment and education.

Ambassador Rahman also handed over the letter from the President of Bangladesh inviting His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to attend the celebration of the Birth Centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
