Significant changes are taking place in the fundamentals, values,  and approach of India’s great democracy; the BJP government has not spared any effort to undermine secular values at all levels. Taking full advantage of their majority in Parliament, without wasting any time bills are being passed against the largest minority in the country, on the one hand, and on the other hand from lower courts to the Supreme Court decisions are being issued against the spirit of the constitution & justice, and on the third side, Hindutwa-Flag bearer thinkers are developing policies that will exclude a certain class (Muslims) from the national mainstream and will become a second-class citizen in a pluralistic society deprived of all kinds of constitutional & basic human rights. Scholarships worth Rs 180 Crores have been canceled for the minority students there are dozens of such cases coming into light.

In a period of 6 months since the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, without any respite anti-constitutional legislation have been enacted; Triple divorce, the withdrawal of special status of 370 from Kashmir, UAPA, then a sad decision on the Babri Masjid, release of final list of Assam’s NRC An amendment bill to give citizenship to non-Muslim asylum seekers from three neighboring countries has been approved by the cabinet & has been presented in the parliament for enactment of law to implement the two-nation theory in parliament. Through this bill, the BJP’s Muslim hostility has come to the light openly.

In a secular country like India, one-sided enactment of communal laws has started which will ultimately be going to result in the amendment of the constitution. The Supreme Court is also issuing its verdict in accordance with the government’s mood and opinion. For the first time in the country’s judicial history, a five-member bench is directing the government to build trust for the construction of the Ram Temple and has confiscated the religious place of one sect to hand it over to the illegal occupants of another community and has declared this judgment as correct.

On one hand, the BJP is taking serious action against all human rights organizations and voluntary organizations as well as institutions working for human rights. In fact, Home Minister Amit Shah has even issued a statement that we don’t need human rights organizations in our country. These human rights organizations are based in the West that is detrimental to the national security of the country and we will devise separate Human Rights Rules as per our requirement.

On the other hand, through the CAB Citizenship Amendment Bill, a law is being made to provide citizenship to non-Muslim refugees coming from neighboring countries. According to the BJP’s view, these non-Muslims have been persecuted in neighboring Muslim countries, trying to give the impression that Muslims are oppressive and Hindus are always oppressed under the same false assumption the citizenship of India is being issued to them with due honor & respect.

Why Muslims are excluded from this bill? When the BJP is involved in having a heated debate in the country on the atrocities being committed on minorities in neighboring countries, then in our neighboring country Myanmar Buddhists and the army are involved in committing atrocities on the Rohingya minority in neighboring Myanmar. ۔ Then why there is no provision for citizenship or permanent residence permit in India for them; Is this not a violation of human rights and open sectarianism. The government has repeatedly been saying that CAB is not going to revive the dual nation theory it is an absurd idea. There are around 18,000 Rohingya asylum seekers in the country who are temporarily based in India on the UN refugee card. There is more than 7 Lack Rohingya asylum seekers in Bangladesh, without any prospect of their return to their home. In August 2017, the BJP government issued a government decree containing orders to deport them. Their deportation has been temporarily suspended based on the Supreme Court’s Stay Order. All opposition parties and parties in the northeastern states and the public are protesting strongly against the CAB.

Like it was at the time of Triple divorce & 370 bills even in the case of CAB the government’s attitude seems to be very tough. Rajnath Singh has issued a whip to all the members of his party to attend the House without any excuse on the day of the introduction of CAB in the Lok Sabha.

The country is subject to, especially the minorities, an atmosphere of fear before the presentation of the Anti-Minorities bills and bill after bill is being introduced even before the injuries of the previous bills are healed. The Lap leaders who are available in our community are being used as pawns to divert the attention of Muslims from the real issues, through various kinds of drama and deplorable activities and the media is busy blowing dust in the eyes of the general public.

Maulana Badruddin Ajmal MP and President Jamiat-ul-Ulema Assam himself, also a Bengali-born leader, attended a meeting organized by the government on CAB, and it is said he opposed the bill; He should have resigned from the membership of the parliament that would have acted as an example, but it is one of the facts that under a political system of vested interests and opportunism resignation is too big a price to pay that demands a political vision & courage. “Zere Khanjar Bhi Ye Paigham Sunaya hum ne” We delivered the message even under the dagger, this character is missing in our political leadership now.

Senior journalist and analyst Gautam Hari says that India is the only country in which the definition of refugees has not been defined clearly, He says that if any Hindu comes from the above-mentioned countries according to the RSS and the BJP he is a refugee and when a Muslim comes, he is infiltrator “The lightning befalls on helpless Muslims only”

Congress, the Left parties and other opposition parties are strongly opposed to the bill. Congress has also filed an appeal in the Supreme Court; Shiv Sena has also announced opposition to the bill, saying that the Indian constitution does not allow anyone to be granted citizenship on the basis of religion.

The bill is simply being adopted as a two-nation ideology against those who believe in Islam. This is a dangerous trend of a secular democratic parliamentary system. If the process of formally excluding Muslims from the legal protections and privileges begins, then all the protections granted to minorities in the constitution will begin to end one after another; and the spread of communalism and sectarianism in Indian society begins. Yesterday, in a TV debate, Colonel Naya said in openly and unambiguously that those (Kashmiri Muslims) should be raped in exchange for “murder and rape in exchange for murder and rape”. What they did to some of the pundits we are going to repeat the same to them. This is the definition of the development that the government wanted to bring into Kashmir with the abrogation of article 370.

The country is becoming economically weak; millions of young people are facing unemployment, elimination of poverty & ignorance, development of trade and commerce are out of focus. Former finance minister Chidambaram has been released from jail. Addressing a press conference on the day of his release he said, the country is going through the worst times for unknown reasons. GDP has fallen by 1.5%. The government is neither concerned about the development of the country nor has any policy regarding the employment of farmers and youth and industrial workers. I will also try to release Kashmiri politicians and be fair to the innocent. Is this the real picture of the prime minister’s slogan “Cooperation of all and development of all”?

The only agenda the BJP government has is how to weaken Muslims and pave the way for legislation through a revival of a two-nation ideology. This was the right time for Muslim leaders and parties, to raise their voices in protest along with opposition parties. The leader of the Jamiat, tried to create an ugly drama when it was time to file a review petition against the judgment of the Supreme Court on Babri Masjid. A few days ago, the senior advocate of the Babri Masjid case, Rajiv Dhawan, had strongly condemned the BJP’s unlawful, illegal, action against the Muslims in his speech. To retaliate, RSS used Maulanas that was the reason the other lawyers of the Jamiat misbehaved with Mr. Rajiv Dhawan and started a baseless false propaganda for some days that issue decorated the newspapers then the top leaders of the Hindutwa said to Mr. Rajiv Dhawan in a taunting manner “Look how the Muslims have humiliated you in return for your service.” a dangerous law is being passed against Muslims in the country, and the media has not only offended Muslims through its debates but according to a plan, the main focus was to divert the attention of Muslims from CAB. If all efforts have been made, it will not be wrong. People have understood why Mannequins Maulvi keeps shouting repeatedly.

What is needed is that all active groups and social organizations have to wake up from this tranquility of ignorance and start Organizing mass protests at mosques, schools, main roads, intersections, and highways.

Premature withdrawal from all your democratic rights is social suicide. And RSS will never stop to brand the Muslim citizens forever as infiltrators. Raising public awareness is the collective responsibility of every educated Indian Muslim. Indian constitution gives us full permission to make a peaceful struggle for our rights. Unless the secular role is restored and the Gandhi’s and Ambedkar system is not restored and made functional, Muslims will have to live in the country as second-class citizens under a two-nation ideology.

In West Bengal, 35% of the population are Muslims that is around 30 million people that’s what is pricking the eyes of the RSS and day after day conditions will get worse. As Bengali Muslims in Assam and Bengal are suffering from serious problems, now all Bengali Muslims are called infiltrators by RSS. It is not going to take much time to get declared Muslims all over the country as infiltrators.
