
In India, Covid-19 cases are at zoom and the pandemic has worsened, as in the last 24 hours India reported more than 32,000 cases. India is the third-worst hit counties after the United States and Brazil.
In the last 24 hours on Thursday, India has recorded 32,695 new cases of covid-19 and 606 deaths. Due to which the total number of Covid-19 cases in the country reaches to 9.68 lakhs. This was for the fourth consecutive day that India recorded more than 30,000 cases and is the highest single-day increase in the Covid cases. The previous highest single-day increase in cases was reported on Tuesday with 29,429 new cases.
According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare India currently has 3, 31, 146 active cases, and 6,12, 815 have been cured. On Wednesday, with 606 deaths, the total death toll now reaches 24, 915. The recovery rate currently in India stands at 63.25%.

Maharashtra continues to be the worst hit by covid-19. Maharashtra recorded the highest number of covid-19 in the country. Of the total deaths recorded, the state has reported 233 deaths, while Delhi 41, 86 Karnataka, 68 Tamil Nadu, 44 Andhra Pradesh. And the states which recorded the highest number of new patients in the last 24 hours are Maharashtra 7, 975, Karnataka 3, 176, Tamil Nadu 4, 496, Andhra Pradesh 2, 432 and Uttar Pradesh 1, 659.
Now, Maharashtra has 2.7 lakh cases, Tamil Nadu 1.5 lakh cases, and Delhi 1.1 lakh cases, Karnataka 47, 253 cases and now Gujarat is at the fifth position with 44, 552 cases.
As the cases of coronavirus are rising, Bihar has imposed a complete lockdown from 16 July to 31 July.
