Crescent Academy is becoming a perfect example of how education can be given at no cost and dreams of underprivileged can be achived. Situated in Murshidabad, Crescent Academy imparts almost-free education and gourdianship to children coming from far away. It imparts vocational training and foundational teaching lessons to its students. It builds a connection between students and teachers as students inherit both moral values and quality education.
Students, teachers, parents and administration are celebrating as 3 former students have excelled in Madhyamik examination from this residential institution, run by Crescent Education and Welfare Trust, now have secured ranks in NEET 2022 fulfilling their dreams to be MBBS doctors. It was established a few years ago with just 35 students, achieving astounding remarks in the All India NEET 2022 examination. These three students are Khushbur Ali 586, Mohammad Sabbir Hasan 580, Mohammad Al-Amin Sheikh 575.
Khushbur got admission to Crescent Academy Omarpur in 2015 in eighth grade. As Khushbur’s father Mohammad Ibrahim Sheikh comes from an impoverished family of marginal farmers and day laborers, he could hardly contribute a small amount of capital for his child during his eighth grade. The institution took complete charge of educating him at free of cost till the ninth, tenth grade and secondary education. After his excellence in Madhyamik examination, he got admitted in Nayabaz branch of mission for his 11th & 12th standard. He attained 586 marks and graded 27855 in All India NET Exam. Khushbur’s father was grateful to Crescent Academy for standing by his son’s education during that period of time. Talking about a few years ago, it had nearly become strenuous to run a family for Sabbir Hasan’s father, San Mohammad. Sabbir Hasan, the younger son of San Mohammad Saheb, has passed secondary school from Crescent Academy and cracked the NET examination this year through Al-Amin Mission. At the other side, Al-Amin Sheikh’s father, Alauddin Sheikh, owned a small grocery shop and it was very difficult for him to earn 2 thousand rupees a month for his son’s education. But he never gave up. After passing secondary school from Crescent Academy, Alamin achieved significant results through Al-Amin Mission this year.
The students of Crescent Academy jubilated for the achievement of the 3 students. The speech of the three created an emotional environment within the institution. The institution pledged to stand tall in society. Apart from it, Taufiq Mahmud ranked 19th and Mohammad Sarfraz ranked 20th from this academy in the secondary examination 2022. The leader, the chairman and the editor of the trust of the academy, expressed great zeal for the success of Crescent Academy Omarpur. The scientist also suggested to adopt more initiatives for imparting high quality services to the underprivileged talents. Moreover, BDO Humayun Chowdhury of Nalhati Block inspected the overall framework of the mission and exclaimed that if one wants to be successful, one needs to follow the right path with a fixed goal and right belief. Mr. Sobiul Islam conveyed that these three students beholds the authority of bringing light to every corner of the society in the near future and future doctors will have to shove otherwise a large part of the society will remain in the dark.
