As part of imparting life skills to students through extracurricular activities and motivating students to follow the footsteps of the toppers, Crescent Education and Welfare Trust organized an interesting cultural program. It was held at Crescent Academy which is located in Shaik Dighi. The event marked the splendid commemoration to acknowledge the stellar performance of students in the recently held board exam.

The stellar performance of students in recently held board exams has added another feather to the cap of Crescent Academy. School administration and management decided to acknowledge this spectacular performance through a celebration.

A Cultural program was initiated by Crescent Academy to commemorate the overall progress and development of students. An interesting cultural program of Crescent Education and Welfare Trust was held today at Crescent Academy which is located in Shaik Dighi.

Several students from this educational institution have been surprising the city by getting the highest marks in Madhyamik (10th West Bengal board exams) every year. That is why Crescent Academy is widely appreciated as a great initiative for the educational upliftment of students from a backward regions.  Sobiul Islam Mahasaya, Director, Crescent Academy, Al Amin Mission, is leaving no stone unturned to take the students to the highest pedestal. Scientist Saidur Rahman Mahasaya has come up from a remote rural area. He is currently a scientist in America.

My desire is to enlighten the poor and helpless orphans in remote villages through an educational institution,” he said. Also present on the occasion were Dr. Saidur Rahman, Secretary of Crescent Education and Welfare Trust and Chairman of Crescent Academy Omarpur, Co-President Jolly Khatun, and Managing Director of the Academy, D. Mohim Ali.

The main motive of the program was to encourage and motivate students to score in the same manner so that they can grow up to be successful and responsible citizens of society. This institution is acknowledged for its success in achieving good grades every year in board exams. The cultural program consisted of children singing and performing to showcase their talents and even various awards and monetary help was initiated to the students who achieved success for their future endeavors.

A total of 5 students have scored above 90% in the board exams. Sarfaraz scored 96.3% and got 20th position in the state. He was followed by Toufik (96%), Nabab (93.9%), Hasan (91.9%) and Nur Alim (90.1%). 14 students have scored above 80% and 26 students have scored above 70%. It was a successful drive for the institution and the students. It is such a proud moment for the institution and the students keeping in mind the unwanted limitations that came on the way, most prominently the Covid-19 crisis. Still, it did not stop the students from succeeding and achieving their goals.
