NOIDA: ICAN4-world’s first 10-day digital live international conference – the second edition 2021 is all set to discuss, deliberate, and analyze various issues, concepts, and opinions on the theme information, Communication and Artificial Networks from July 01, 2021. This is the fourth time that DME Media School is hosting this prestigious international media conference and the second time in completely online form amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
ICAN is the outcome of collaboration between DME Media School, NOIDA, and Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia. The conference is supported by 4 knowledge partners – Adamas University, Kolkata, K.R.Mangalam University, Gurugram, MakhanlalChaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication, Bhopal, and VigyanPrasar, Government of India. Department of Communication and Journalism, Gauhati University, Guwahati is an Academic Partner and Institute for International Journalism, E. W. Scripps School of Journalism, Ohio University, United States is an international partner for the conference. The Policy Times, New Delhi is the Media Partner for the conference.
This conference will witness 36 live sessions including 9 technical sessions, 3 Workshops, 7Panel Discussions, 3 special sessions, and 10Master Classes. Around100 plus abstracts/papers have been received from different parts of the country and the authors will have presentations in technical sessions. A large number of scholars will join the brainstorming sessions from across five continents and 11 countries, namely India, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Bangladesh, USA, Mexico, France, Italy, Australia, and Ghana.

Prior, DME Media School has successfully organized three editions of ICAN. The first edition India and Changing Aspects of News– ICAN was organized on March 9, 10, and 11, 2018; the second edition Indian Cinema and Alternate Networks– ICAN2 was held on November 16, 17, and 18, 2018, and the third edition on Issues of Community, Agenda, and News were held from June 21 to June 30, 2020.
