Soon after the Bhoomi puja and foundation stone for the grand Ram temple was done by PM Narendra Modi at Ayodhya, a message with a photograph of a large building stating “Babri Hospital”, started circulating rounds the social media claiming that the Sunni Waqf has decided to build a super speciality hospital on the 5 acres of land allotted to them in Ayodhya by the SC.

According to the New Indian Express report, the 15 member trust, Indo- Islamic Cultural Foundation, will foresee the construction of the mosque, Indo- Islamic research centre, library and hospital on the five- acres of land. The land allotted to them is in Dhannipur, village of Sohawal tehsil in Ayodhya district, 20 km away from the site of where Ram Mandir is being constructed.

A google reverse image search says that the building being shown is actually the University Of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia, United States. The picture below on the left shows the viral picture of the hospital and the picture on the right shows the University of Virginia image from LinkedIn profile. The same image was also found on the website of University of Virginia Health System.

The India Today also spoke to Syed Mohammad Shoeb, the Chief Executive Officer of UP Sunni Central Board of Waqf, who confirms that the viral picture claiming that the Board will build Babri Hospital and Dr. Kafeel Khan will be its director is completely false. He also said that they will take legal actions against whoever created and circulated this fake post.
