Chief of the Bangladesh Air Force Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat met President Mohammad Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban in the capital Dhaka on Thursday (June 10).
The outgoing Chief of Air Staff briefed the President on the various activities undertaken during his tenure in the development of the Bangladesh Air Force. He expressed his gratitude for the overall cooperation and guidance during his tenure.
President Md. Abdul Hamid thanked the outgoing Chief of Air Staff for his successful discharge. The President said the present government is taking and implementing various programs to modernize the Air Force under the Forces Goal-2030. He hopes that through this Bangladesh Air Force will become a modern and advanced force in the future appreciating the various activities of the Armed Forces, including the Air Force, in dealing with the Corona, the President expressed hope that the Air Force would continue to come forward in the future to meet the needs of the country and the nation.
Secretary to the President’s Office Sampad Barua, Military Secretary Major General SM Salah Uddin Islam, Press Secretary Md Joynal Abedin, and Secretary (Joint) Wahidul Islam Khan were present on the occasion.
