On the occasion of the centenary of the birth of Bangladesh’s Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the golden jubilee of Bangladesh’s independence, the Embassy of Bangladesh, Paris, initiated the French version of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s ‘Prison Diary’ Journal de Prison’s wrapper is unveiled.
Bangladesh Foreign Minister was the chief guest at the event. Dr. A. K. Abdul Momen, MP. He connected online from New York.
Prominent French writer, philosopher and filmmaker Mr. Bernard-Henri Lévy. The chief coordinator of the National Committee to Celebrate the Birth Centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman participated from Dhaka Mr. Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury as a special speaker, Mr. Mofidul Haque, one of the founding trustees of Liberation War Museum, Dhaka. Professor Phillipe Benoit, the translator of the book, and Mr. Slatkin & Cie, the publisher of the book, were present at the embassy. Bertrand Favreul.

The Ambassador expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to all those involved in the publication of this book. This book will be available in various bookstores in France from today.
