Mr. Feroz Khan’s path from being affectionately referred to as “Pappu mechanic” to a digital professional is what history is built of, and now made his name on Forbes India’s “Most Valued People” 2021 issue.
The founder and CEO of DigiFlynt began his venture in business technology and has since become a stalwart in digital and emerging technology. He began his business career at Reliance, where he retired as a Senior Manager. He subsequently went on to work for PepsiCo as General Manager, Head of SAP Operations, and was shortly promoted to Vice President (Head, Enterprise Solutions) at HCL Technologies Ltd.
Khan has been worked in strategy and management at consulting organizations such as BCG and KPMG, where he excelled in digital and emerging technologies and led digital transformation projects for a variety of banking and financial services.
Khan, who has already written four books, chose the moniker DigiFlynt after much thought. The first half of the name arose from his skill in the digital domain. The word Flynt took a lot of confidence and commitment, which leads to rock-solid planning, strategy, and the execution of massive undertakings. Thus was born DigiFlynt, which established itself in Dubai. Khan’s motivation was to create untapped geographies with enormous economic potential, and he focused his vision on West Africa.
DigiFlynt is now digitally converting many countries. He has progressed beyond working for a firm and into the arena of reforming nations. The organization is looking forward to the future and will soon offer its own digital wallet and banking services in the Central African region. DigiFlynt, through its digital technologies and products, assists countries in increasing their GDP through revenue collection. The company has created its own IP-based VAT collection and management systems for personal income tax and VAT.
The majority of DigiFlynt’s contributions are in government sectors such as taxation, ports, healthcare, and immigration, among others business strategy, e-governance, customer experience, data engineering, and technology enablement are all functions of the organization.
During his 23-year career, the thought leader is most proud of two major contributions to the business world. The first is designing and developing software that was used for managing and maintaining the assets of a refinery and petroleum depot and was eventually sold to an IT company as a significantly valuable packaged product. The second was establishing and leading a digital advisory practice. The achievement enabled him to confidently launch DigiFlynt, which received multi-million dollar contracts.
Khan is inspired by CEOs such as Elon Musk and Marc Benioff, as well as their activities and innovations with his ability to blend traditional beliefs, old philosophy, and modern values. The voyage, however, has only just begun for the man who swears by lengthy rides with family and heartfelt ghazals as well as Hindi music.
