TPT Dhaka Bureau: As part of the 5th Bangladesh-India Cultural Meet & Reunion, From India, important personalities including political, social, cultural activists and media persons including Tripura’s Minister Ram Prasad Pal visited Puthia Rajbari, Natore Rajbari, and Uttara Gana Bhavan in the Rajshahi region.
On Sunday (February 27), AHM Khairuzzaman Liton, convener of the preparatory committee for the cultural meet, member of the presidium of the Bangladesh Awami League, and mayor of Rajshahi City Corporation visited various establishments with them.

On the occasion of the centenary of Bangabandhu‘s birth, the golden jubilee of independence, and the 50th anniversary of Bangladesh-India relations, a cultural meet is being held in Rajshahi from 25 to 26 February under the auspices of Friends of Bangladesh under the auspices of Rajshahi City Corporation. As part of this, guests from India visited Puthia Rajbari on Sunday and Natore Rajbari and Uttara Ganobhaban in the afternoon.
At 12:00 noon, guests from Puthia Rajbari were welcomed with warm greetings. Later in the afternoon, R C.C. Mayor AHM Khairuzzaman Liton and State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak MP along with other leaders greeted the Indian guests at Natore Rajbari and Uttara Ganobhaban.
During the visit, the Indian guests were introduced to the history and heritage of the historical sites. Indian guests took part in worship at the historic Shiva Temple at Puthia Rajbari and the Sarvamangala Temple at Natore Rajbari.
During the visit, Natore-4 MP and District Awami League President Abdul Quddus, Natore-2 MP Shafiqul Islam Shimul, Rajshahi Metropolitan Awami League Acting President Bir Muktijoddha Mohammad Ali Kamal, Rajshahi District Awami League General Secretary Abdul Wadud Dara, Juba Mahila League General Secretary Apu Ukil, and other personalities and important personalities of Awami League and allied organizations.
It may be mentioned that a team of 36 members including the Minister of India came to Rajshahi on February 25 to take part in the 5th Bangladesh-India Cultural Meet.
They will return to India after the reunion on February 28.
