Haryana Government spends over Rs 700 crore since 2015 for achievements on ads

The government of Haryana has spent over almost Rs 700 crore since 2015 on advertisement of its achievement’s announcements and functions.

The information was given on Friday before the state Assembly here in a written reply in response to a query raised by Aftab Ahmed who is a Congress MLA.

Ahmed had sought to get year-wise details of the amount spent by the government on newspapers, posters, Internet, TV, and radio, etc. for the advertisement of its achievements, announcements, birth anniversary since 2015 of great personalities and functions.

In reply to the question asked, the government in the written reply provided details from the period January 2015 to 13th December 2021.

Over Rs 596 crore was stated to have been given during the time for newspaper advertisements while Rs 96.34 crore was provided for TV ads, Rs 21.76 crore for radio, Rs 1.19 crore was given for Internet, and Rs 4.39 lakh for the posters respectively.
