CEO of the Rahmani Programme of Excellence, Fahad Rahmani said, “”We began in 2008 and till 2017 we have sent 213 students to the IITs. This year’s JEE (Main) results are very encouraging as our overall success rate, including Patna, Hyderabad and Aurangabad centres, is 75% while the Patna centre’s result is 100% (23 out of 23 students).”
Rahmani 30 has very strong associations with Anjuman I Islam and also the support of Memon Chamber of Commerce for finance. However there has been major issues with financing in the past, with activists such as Shadaab Patel specifying-
“Why can’t the city’s Muslims finance a programme which is giving such excellent results?”
Rahmani 30 is free of cost, helping underprivileged kids. It finds, houses and trains deserving students. Once the students are selected they are given hostel accommodation, along with nutritious meals.
