Indian High Commission in Bangladesh Handed Over Life Support Ambulance to Rajshahi City Corporation

TPT Dhaka Bureau: In Bangladesh, a ceremony was held at the Rajshahi City Corporation on February 26, 2022, where the High Commissioner of India in Bangladesh, Mr. Vikram Doraiswami handed over one(1) Life-Support Ambulance to Mayor, Mr. A. H. M. Khairuzzaman Liton on behalf of the People and Government of India.

The brand new Ambulance, fitted with modern, critical life-saving equipment, can be used by paramedics and first responders to provide quality emergency care and trauma life support to patients en-route to the hospital for treatment. This Ambulance is a part of the overall program for the supply of 109 Life Support Ambulances, as announced by Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi during his State Visit to Bangladesh in March 2021.

In the Ceremony M. Shamsul Haque Tuku MP, Assistant High Commissioner To India in Rajshahi Mr. Sanjeev K. Bhati, and the councilors of the city Corporation were also present.
