Forbes released its annual list of the world’s highest-paid athletes.

Number one was the famous boxer who makes millions and millions in a matter of a few minutes in a ring, Floyd Mayweather. No wonder his nickname is ‘Money.’ He’s fast, strong and got the wits and skills of Mike Tyson and Mohammad Ali combined. Floyd may be retired, but he is still considered the richest for the fourth time in seven years. He earned a whopping $272 million for his fight against the notorious UFC star Conor McGregor alone last August, with endorsements running into $10 million.

Messi, the Argentian striker made $111 million with salaries, winnings, and endorsements. Messi came second beating his competitor Christiano Ronaldo.

Christiano Ronaldo has been leading the list for the last two years, however, he earned $108 million this year with plenty of gold medals and cups to his earnings.

These footballers are ready to play the Football World Cup next week, so a bonus for that too maybe?
