After aide of Israel PM Benjamin Netanyahu who had been tested positive, Prime Minister goes under self-quarantine as announced by his office on Monday.
Israeli media had revealed that the PM might have come in contact with his assistant when he attended the parliament amid all the hustle of the announcement of the emergency government with the opposition party to address and cope with the COVID-19 crisis.
As per his doctor, the 70-year-old will in isolation until the second test report arrives. He will get his tests done second time now, the first test was done among 14 days back when tested negative.
As per the Haaretz- the Israeli Newspaper Rivka Paluch, Netanyahu’s adviser on the Knesset – Israel’s parliament, tested positive for COVID-19.
The other parliamentarian had also been kept under quarantine. Though, the office of the Prime Minister says that Rivka was not in direct contact with PM Benjamin Netanyahu who is mostly working aloof at this time.
Israel has reported 4300 cases till now among which 15 had died and 95 are in serious condition. The PM was scheduled to have meetings with officials to discuss the lockdown of other countries.
