The Kuala Lumpur 4-Days Summit 2019 was held at a time when Islamphobia and Muslim hatred of some nations are on the rise in the world. The Islamic world is full of internal and external problems. In this Summit, with internal accountability, technology, finance, professional, production marketing, like topics were given central importance. Two Summits have been held in Kuala Lumpur earlier, the Summit was given the slogan of “Third Great Muslim March”.

The Kuala Lumpur Summit 2019 emphasized the glory of Muslim governments, their power, the Islamic brotherhood, hospitality, Subtlety, humbleness, accolades and eloquence. The most advanced technology was put to use to bring into focus all the details.

Inaugural ceremony was marked with extensive use of most advanced IT technology; the inaugural event began with the prayer of Mufti Watu ZulKifl al-Kubra. A robot came on stage and gave details of the upcoming 4-day program, Tan Siri Shamsuddin Bin Usman, General Secretary of the Summit delivered the Welcome Address followed by Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Al Thani, Amir Qatar, Tayyib Erdogan, President, Republic of Turkey, Hassan Rouhani, President, Islamic Republic of Iran and Mahathir Muhammad, Prime Minister of  Malaysia and Chairman Kuala Lumpur Summit 2019. Every speech was charged with commitment, conviction, morale and tried to convey a new message to the whole world.

The Prime Minister of Malaysia welcomed the guests and said that “I warmly welcome all the guests & the Heads of the Governments, prime ministers, ministers, intellectuals and social activists, the gathering of such Muslim scholars and thinkers of Kuala Lumpur Summit.” In which the current situation of the Ummah is concerned. In fact, at the moment, there is a painful trend in the world of blasphemy and slander of our religion, Islam and Muslims have been stigmatized as terrorists.

There is not even a single country in the Muslim world that we can call it a developed country, despite most of them being rich. All these countries are so weak that they have failed to perform their religious duties and to protect the Muslim Ummah. Islamic civilization in history has been shining on the world for centuries. The decline of Islamic civilization began in the 15th century. The differences related to the school of thought & groups, geographical conflicts replaced development. Taking advantage of this, the European nations destroyed the world of Islam and established their colonial system.

Referring to the 77th verse of the Sura Al Qasas, in the holy Qur’an said, “And do not forget your share in the world, and deal beautifully as Allah has dealt with you.”

Mahathir Mohammed said that we should not forget our duty of contributing towards the development of the world, so that the next generation should strive hard for the development of Muslims for the success in this world and the hereafter.

We must first focus on fairness-based governance, reform, and new changes. It may be that a dark picture is coming out in front of us, but that doesn’t mean we can’t do anything. We must learn from our history. They gave the sparkle to the Islamic civilization in history, yet they were well aware as to how they should protect its borders and geographical boundaries.

Why we have gathered here, as opinion leaders from Muslim nations to take a positive step. Muslim nations are so diverse and contradictory that it often makes it practical implementations impossible. We are about to launch a special program with specific ventures and projects.

If our efforts are fruitful, then we, along with other Muslim nations, will push forward the development agenda to improve the current state of the Ummah.

  • Dr. Hassan Rouhani, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran: While highlighting the promising aspects of Islamic civilization, said that our original asset at that time was knowledge & vision based on the principle of ‘Wisdom is the lost treasure of the believer’. Societies become backward if they reject the new fields of knowledge and remain ignorant from science. Inspired by extremist ideology and a western-dominated mindset have destroyed Muslim nations. Erosion of national values, beliefs, national identity and cultural values is the main obstacle in development. Citing the example of Iran’s Islamic government as a model he said in the last 41 years we have held 38 general elections under the command of “Amrahom Shoora Baynahom” They are governed by suggestions and counseling which takes place among them. We can maintain strong cultural and economic cooperation with each other. Muslim countries should set up their own insurance companies and focus on crypto currency, focus on halal products & Transnational Transport.
  • Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Al-Thani, Amir of Qatar: Some of the world powers are engaged in making us fight with each other. Those who share one language, one faith and one religion, one nationality have imposed restrictions and blockade on us; we are successfully working on the agenda of protection and development of our nation under the most difficult conditions.
  • Tayyib Erdogan, President of Turkey: in his speech, after the Hamd & Salawat said that I have brought the well wishes of 80 million Turkish brothers and sisters to you with love. From this meeting I extend my heartfelt congratulations to friends of whole of Asia and the world. I am grateful to Dr. Mahathir Mohammed Prime Minister of Malaysia from the depth of my heart & on behalf of my people.

I hope that the Kuala Lumpur Summit 2019 will become an important source of our strength, unity, Insha-Allah cooperation on security, defense, trade, investment, technology and digital platforms and exchange ideas on long lasting opportunities for sustainable development and cooperation. The problem of the Muslim nations is not that they are weak, but that the actual problem is the implementation of the original development agenda. There is no difference between resources, population, geographical boundaries between Muslims and opponents. In fact, most of the natural resources are available in the Islamic world, despite it the majority of Muslims suffer from ignorance, starvation; even after having innumerable blessings of Allah such as oil, gas and minerals. The Qur’an has been repeatedly telling us to act with wisdom and intelligence.

Dear Respected Brothers, the most affected countries today in Asia, Europe and Africa are our countries. All the calamities & accidents and fatalities occur within our geographical boundaries only. I have come here after attending the First Global Refugees Forum Summit sponsored by the UN in Geneva.

As many as 37 million refugees who escaped the Syrian civil war and atrocities are living in our countries. In addition to that, a large number of refugees from Iraq, Afghanistan, and Yemen have been forced to seek asylum in remote countries of the world.

It appears to me like 1.7 billion Muslims has been held hostage by the 5 Members of the UN Security Council for their gain and control. We are fighting against the illegal occupation, control & provocation of the Israeli government for the sake of the independence of Jerusalem and Palestine. There are wars from Turkey to Arakan, Yemen to Libya and Syria, they are all illegal.

Today, enemy forces are carrying out terrorist activities & are involved in road attacks in our Country, they are using hired journalists to discredit our country and me. To make democracy fail In our country, they  are making full use of insurgency and economic terrorism. Our voices are suppressed against the atrocities committed in Palestine, Gaza, Arakan, Libya, Somalia, Syria. I say “the world is bigger than these 5 great countries” they try to divide us and keep us apart by engaging us against each other.

We as Muslim countries have the 59% resources of world oil and 58% resources of world gas, yet 350 million Muslims are living in a state of  abject poverty. Muslim countries spend only 3.7% of their budget on education, while developed countries spend an average of 4.8% of their budget. Literacy rate in developed countries is 82.5% and in Muslim countries it is 70%. Amongst the number of wars and conflicts taking place in the world, 94% of those who are affected due all this are Muslims. We have implemented the most profitable projects found in many Islamic worlds. Our trade and economic development will become strong and sustainable through mutual cooperation in the fields of innovative technology and technology.

This summit consisted of two important roundtable sessions, the first and the most important challenges facing development, which were addressed by Dr. Mahathir Mohammed, Tayyab Erdogan, Hassan Rouhani, and Sheikh Tamim al-Thani. The speeches were addressed by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mr. Rustam Chemov and Mauritanian Representative Chairman KL Summit 2019 Dr. Sheikh Mohammed al-Hassan al-Daud and the Special Representative of Russia Mr. Farit Mokhmetshin.

The second round table session is titled “The role of politics in development” in which the Vice President “BERASTV” tourist party Malaysia and Naaman Kertoloms leader A.K. Party Each of Hamas’s leaders, Khalid Mashal and former defense premier Turkey. Along with Ms. Zorida Qamaruddin Vice President PKR Party Malaysia  Ali Laarayedh Former Prime Minister Tunisia addressed a special session on December 20, 2019, titled. “Why education is the key to national development”. addressed by Dr Mrs Lee bin Malik and Minister of Education Malaysia, Dr. Ali Mohiuddin Qadri, Secretary General of the International Union of Muslim Sciences, Ahmed Achtham al-Adwani Federation of Islamic Organization of Europe.

Impressions: An exquisite summit of its own was held in Muslim countries in which 18 different bilateral development projects were signed. The Summit was a modern Islamic summit. The orators repeatedly cited the Quranic verses and hadiths in their speeches. No dance or drinking and singing concerts were held, prayers were officially organized.

A large number of highly educated Muslim women participated in all sessions who participated in all discussions.

Over 580 delegates from more than 30 European, American, African, Asian countries, participated on high level & exchanged ideas for four days. In some issues, the participants refrained from shedding light on the problem of Uyghur until the concluding address in the Summit. The Rohingya issue was mentioned twice by Tayyib Erdoghan.

Irrespective of all the differences, major positive decisions were taken; despite the opposition from the Gulf & Arab countries this summit was successful. A large number of Arabs & Turk representatives were seen the third great Muslim March 2019 has raised hope in the Muslim Ummah.

The 94-year-old leader Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamed, he was very distinct due to his simplicity and mingling nature, manners & approach he was personally present along with the participants for 3 days personally. He himself being a great Islamic Scholar and thinker and an expert in delivering unwritten speech instantly with eloquence, never did he need an assistant or a secretary.
