Bangladesh’s President M Abdul Hamid on Tuesday(31st August) stressed the importance of increasing diplomatic, as well as bilateral trade and investment relations with Morocco as the newly-appointed ambassador of Bangladesh to Morocco Mohammad Shahdat Hossain, paid a courtesy call on him at Bangabhaban here this evening.

During the meeting, the President hoped that the new ambassador would work to improve bilateral relations with Morocco, including existing trade and investment, President’s Press Secretary Md Joynal Abedin told to media.

The head of the state assured the new ambassador of providing all necessary cooperation and guidance as he (envoy) sought cooperation in discharging his assignments in Morocco.

Bangladesh President’s Office Secretary Sampad Barua, Military Secretary Major General SM Salah Uddin Islam, Press Secretary Md Joynal Abedin, and Secretary (Attachment) Md Wahidul Islam Khan were present on the occasion.
