New Delhi: In the Post-Independence era, the progress of Indian Muslims and Specifically women of the community has been poor and alarming due to hurdles of Mental Ignorance, exploitation, and lack of True wisdom subject to the Edu-Socio-religious-political will of Individuals and Institutions.
Being the largest minority in the country Muslims were and are found to be the most lagging behind community in terms of Education and other Opportunities of Socio-Economic Empowerment. Their Edu-Economic graph is Considerably low among many other minorities/communities.
For decades Equal Opportunities has never been put forth and shared transparently in major areas of National Development issues due to which the educational graph of Muslim girls was only 51% in comparison to other communities. Precisely, the ratio of Technological Education among Muslim women is alarming which in the future will hamper the Holistic growth & development of Generations to come through them.
But, challenging the odds of society, there are a few organizations that are striving for change in the above issue of Human Interest. One such organization is Policy Times Foundation, a New Delhi-based Development Advocacy platform related to research, events, and media. Its main motive is to focus and analyze various in-depth existing and new policies occurring all over India.
Mr. Akram Hoque, the Founder-Editor of The Policy Times, and Mr. Salman Ahmed, the Co-Founder of The Policy Times, identified female students of Nagpur city, among whom were school-college drop-outs and even undergraduates. Under their guidance, a Training Module on Digital Media Technology Course was designed and implemented for girl students which lasted approximately for more than a year.
The Module of the training included Basic-Advance Digital media content such as Digital Marketing, specifically Social media marketing, Content Writing, Editing, Research analysis, anchoring, SEO, Video Editing and more importantly Holistic Development of Trainees for enlightening them with a new direction in life which otherwise if not guided wisely seems dark and directionless.
This training instilled new confidence in trainees’ lives with a realization of their important role in Empowering Nation, Society at large, and Generation Building. Many concerning individuals and social organizations supported the above cause of Empowerment with their knowledge and precious time.
Young and Promising Director Junaid Imam with his team has presented the Noble cause with a brief, effective and inspiring documentary film Parvaaz.
Policy Times Foundation aims to prioritize and uplift deprived youth of India by sharing & facilitating opportunities with respect to the National & International level of Advanced Versions of Journalism in the Digital World.
“Empowering Generations for Building Nations is one of the Core Objective”.
