President Kovind lays foundation stone for High Court complex, Law varsity in Prayagraj

President Ram Nath Kovind today laid the foundation stone for National Law University and a new building complex of Allahabad High Court in Prayagraj.

Chief justice of India NV Ramana, many senior judges, Union law minister kiren Rijiju, Governor of the state Anandiben Patel, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath were also present at the function. Speaking on the occasion President said that People have immense belief in the judiciary of the country but still they hesitate to come to the courts, this situation should change and It will only happen when all stakeholders will come together and become sensitive.

The new Allahabad high court complex includes a multi-level parking facility, an advocate chamber library, and an auditorium. According to the Uttar Pradesh government, the building complex will have around 2,600 chambers for the lawyers of the court. Around 6,00 crore rupees have been released for the entire project.

Union law minister Kiren Rijiju congratulated the people of the state for this university and said that from next year the academic session of the university will start with 80 students. More than 1 thousand students will be able to get law education in graduation and post-graduation courses of the proposed University which will have Residence facilities also.
