Non-resident Bangladesh Ambassador Mr. Md. Zahangir Alam presented his credentials to the President of Kyrgyzstan Mr. Sadyr Zhaparov in a ceremony at Ala-Archa (presidential residence) in Bishkek on 24 June 2021.
During a meeting after the Credentials, the Kyrgyz President congratulated the new Ambassador, received greetings from the Hon’ble President and the Hon’ble Prime Minister of Bangladesh, and conveyed his warm greetings in return.

Ambassador informed the President about our socio-economic developments, commendable achievements in RMG, pharmaceuticals, jute, leather, and other industrial sectors urged for signing an MOU on Foreign Office Consultations.
The President called Bangladesh entrepreneurs to set up garments and pharmaceutical industries in Kyrgyzstan and take the opportunity of European GSP+ export facilities which Kyrgyzstan is now enjoying. He further noted that Bangladeshi entrepreneurs would have easy export access to all the CIS countries at a very low tariff.
