The Policy Times and South Asia Education Council (SAEC) in collaboration with University of Petroleum & Energy Studies, Dehradun organized webinar on “Tricks & Tactics for Competitive Advantages in Upcoming Board Exams” on April 30, Friday from 2.00pm -3.30pm(IST)
The board exams are a threshold to decide the path of academic or professional journey for youths in South Asia including India. The global pandemic has put a lot of turmoil to the academic career of young students and added a lot of stress and factors to account while preparing for the critical exam. Our experts suggested quite a few handy ways to navigate successfully.
Dr. Karunakar Jha, UPES “ Board exam are certainly a deciding threshold to plan academic and professional career. It is imperative that young people analyses all the information and guidance floating around them but it is not advisable to be overwrought and get worked up over them or the competitive pressure. The trick to navigate smoothly is to calmly shape their own path and take informed decision and follow them with persistent discipline in their daily lives”.
Dr. Biswajit Saha, Director of CBSE, the chief guest of the session touched cord with the students on several extremely important points-first on the list is careful and planned time management, second is physical fitness as physical fitness is extremely important deciding factor for mental productivity and third important point is reconnecting with family,peers and surrounding people to not only exchange and strengthen mutual understanding but get better understanding of their situations and plan their path ahead with informed and experienced guidance. Another important tip from him was to learn a new language to exercise their mental capacity as well as create an added advantage in case they are venturing to different country for further their study .
