Q What makes ‘Yes Madam’ unique?
Answer: Yes Madam beauty services app aiming to introduce ola/uber like beauty services ‘Yes Madam’ can be easily touted as the game-changer in beauty and wellness industry as it will charge the customers on Rs 6 per minute basis. It’s a model tried by none in this industry and that’s what makes Yes Madam unique.
Q How did this idea come to your mind and who are the target customers?
Answer: The co-founder of the app, Garima Arya, when personally struggled to find an affordable and transparent salon in the nearby area she decided to start an app where the customer will be able to avail really cost effective and authentic services at home.
Our target audience is the middle class, upper middle class and working class women who are too busy to visit a salon or simply looking for affordable salon services at home
Q Who are your competitors?
Answer: Though at every corner we can find salon in today’s time but servicing grooming at your doorsteps is very unique and new and it is being tested by many. Namely we think our competition is Urban Clap, Quickr services and @home Diva apps.
Q What are your strategies to promote it?
Answer: We believe that since our app is online/app based, our most number of queries will also generate through online promotions. Social Media, SMSs, Blogger engagement etc include in our strategy to promote the app.
Q What are the different services offered by Yes Madam?
Answer: Their service includes providing Cleaner, Iron Boy, Cook, Barber, Beautician & Female Massage (only female to female). We have also come up with beauty services for men as well.
Q Is there any option that customers can use their own products rather than using products brought by beautician to customers door step?
Answer: Yes absolutely. We have given that choice to our customer too. In this scenario just the service charge of Rupees per min 6 will be payable.
Q How ‘Yes Madam’ app intends to bring a revolution in the beauty and salon industry what are the strategies to make it true?
Answer: Yes madam charges for every minute which is revolutionary because all the other beauty services charges for the entire packages even if you don’t use all the services in the packages. Yes madam wants grooming should become easy, quick and affordable for everyone. Secondly we pay our beauticians the most in the industry, on an average 30-40k per month. This is done to bring parity in the pay scale in the beauty industry. And lastly our prices are unchallenged in the market , which makes us the game-changer in the industry.
Q As ‘Yes Madam’ provides services at door steps then what are security measures for beauticians who visits the customers?
Answer: Each n every beautician of ours goes through rigorous background check before bringing on-board. Also, 24 hours before the service the name and phone number of the beautician is shared so that the customer can speak to her in advance .
Q Do you suggest any policy / regulatory changes for your industry?
Answer: There should be strict action taken against salons/apps which use duplicate products. In today’s time transparency in salons lacks a lot and ultimately the customer feels cheated. The culprits who use duplicate products during the service should be black listed from the industry forever.
