The Foreign Ministers of the two countries expressed their determination to take the development cooperation between Bangladesh and Australia to a new level through trade, trade, and human resource development cooperation.

Mentioning that Australia has very friendly relations with Bangladesh, Dr. Momen thanked the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Australia for giving speeches on the centenary of Bangabandhu‘s birth and the golden jubilee of independence. He recalled the contribution of Australian citizens in the liberation war of Bangladesh.
