The Prime Minister of Bangladesh and President of Awami League Sheikh Hasina on Wednesday (June 23) unveiled the cover of a documentary titled ‘Four Decades of Sheikh Hasina’s Leadership: From Struggling Leader to Everlasting statesman’. He unveiled the book on Wednesday afternoon on the occasion of the 72nd founding anniversary of the Bangladesh Awami League.
At the time, Bangladesh Awami League praesidium member Begum Matia Chowdhury said. Abdur Razzak, Shahjahan Khan, Jahangir Kabir Nanak and Abdur Rahman, General Secretary Obaidul Quader, Joint General Secretary Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif, Dr. Hasan Mahmud, leaders of central and allied organizations and the book’s editor, Bangladesh Awami League’s information and research secretary. Selim Mahmud and publisher Jayita Prakashan’s Yasin Kabir Joy were at the end of Bangabandhu Avenue.
This special documentary book has been published by Jayita Prakashani on the occasion of the 72nd founding anniversary of the Bangladesh Awami League on the occasion of the four decades of the leadership of Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina.
Through this publication, the new generation will be able to know about the history of the struggle for democracy in Bangladesh under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina and the history of Bangladesh’s transformation in development and progress at an irresistible pace under her leadership as a statesman.
After the assassination of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, when Bangladesh was deviating from its ideology and moving in the opposite direction, on the rainy afternoon of 17 May 1981, after the return of Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina to her homeland, a continuous movement against non-ideal rule began The journey of struggle. The book ‘Four Decades of Sheikh Hasina’s Leadership: From a Struggling Leader to a Timeless State Leader’ is an attempt to present this journey of Bangabandhu’s daughter through a series of documentaries. The book deals with the return of Bangabandhu’s daughter to the homeland in 1971, the anti-authoritarian movement, the movement for the establishment of democracy, the movement for the right to vote and rice, the steps are taken in 1996-2001 to improve a lot of the people of Bangladesh during the first term Later, illustrated information has been presented about the torture of minorities across the country, the grenade attack on Ekushey (21) August, the re-appointment of the Prime Minister with the mandate of the people of the country and the change of governance in the country for three consecutive terms.

The 228- page book is arranged into four chapters. The chapters are Bangabandhu Kanya Sheikh Hasina: The creator of modern Bangladesh, the fierce struggle of the people’s leader Sheikh Hasina on the path to democracy, Bangladesh turned around under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina, Bangladesh on the highway of development and Bangladesh and Sheikh Hasina: Bangabandhu Kanya in the documentary Four decades of walking.
The book was edited by Aminul Kabir Sumon, Mubashshara Matin, Hasibur Bashar Hamid, Mahmud Hossain Khan, Shahida Begum and Ariful Haque.
A total of more than six hundred newsletters have been used in the book.
