Dear Madam Sonia Gandhi, In inviting all the opposition parties over dinner one can see that you are donning the role of a General, a Strategist, a Planner for your party. A notice of one week is enough time for as many to coordinate and accept your invitation and perhaps even join. It raises my curiosity as to what is essentially disused behind the closed door discussions. From your last dinner to the present pending invite, there is nothing visible from the opposition that can be seen as a strategic move. The Policy Times presume your meets are to strategize obviously against your rivals. On the contrary, your rivals have yet again conquered the opposition territories. Is it a case of no strategy or long term strategy or an intentional march over? We are really amazed at an almost constant complicity to facilitate their win. We, the mere mortals of this motherland perhaps are unable to understand your long term strategy, aiming only at 2019 and all things till then can be discussed over such similar dinners. We assume that your dinner must be the nightmare of the chefs, accommodating as many different dietary needs as the people attending the meeting and a contingent of their support staff.
- Secularism existed in India from the Ancient Time!
- Rahul Gandhi should Build Strong Opposition to Save Democracy
- Gandhian Doctrine is still Relevant!
- “I have never gone anywhere….” Indira Gandhi
We cannot help but ponder as to what your rivals would have done if they were in your position. We must tell you, they would never have indulged in socialization. They too have political partners, but we do not think strategies are made over culinary spread at all. The two and sometimes the two and a half make the strategy as is known to the nation. However, we may dislike the leaders on the other side, one has to accord the credit where it belongs. We envy their National Security like Strategizing and Military like precise implementation. We are not sure if there were any dinner invite sessions. We understand you being in the opposition is not same as all powerful. It is not about the positions, it is about the approach. It is not the dinners madam, it is shedding of the fat, the belly and the dead cells, the need of the hour.
