The Policy Times Dhaka Bureau :
The apparent light pressure in the south-western part of Bangladesh and adjoining areas is presently present in the western part of Bangladesh and adjoining West Bengal. As a result, the North Bay and adjoining areas are experiencing high air pressure variations and deep convection clouds are continuing to form. Strong winds can blow over the coastal areas of Bangladesh, North Bay of Bengal, and seaports.
Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra seaports have been asked to display local warning signal number three (again). The warning was issued by the Bangladesh Meteorological Department’s Storm Warning Center on Thursday (July 29).
The message asked fishing boats and trawlers stationed in the North Bay to proceed cautiously from near the coast until further notice.
