The increase of AI will create more jobs and not reduce it
We are fed with the notion of how automation and machines will slowly take over not only our jobs but also the world. Hollywood has taught us this, but this is a myth that should be discarded.
This, in fact, opens a door to more opportunities, so that automation is handled well because a robot’s brain can only go so far! Humans and Artificial Intelligence will work together to solve problems around the world.
Competition for the Top Talent
Talent is something which is seen to be more in a particular city than others. This is the case of the new generation of people who work anywhere and not just near their offices. Digital nomad lifestyle is being adopted by many, and hence cities will start competing to get the best talent. This means every city will offer various living standards to ensure a particular talent moves into it.

Freelancing to be Popular
When looking at statistics of American workers, about 36% of US workforce is freelancing. By 2027 a majority of the workforce will freelance. Almost half of the millennials are already freelancing. Companies such as Samsung have already turned to hire freelancers.
Education needs to be reanalyzed. The topics of yesterday’s learnings are not helpful for tomorrow’s workforce. A more flexible curriculum needs to be suited according to the needs of the future.
In conclusion, there will be plenty of jobs linked to Artificial Intelligence (AI), with cities competing for the best talent and not companies, with people opting for freelancing and an education system which will be vastly different to traditional subjects helping prepare individuals for tomorrow’s real-life jobs and problems.
