TPT Policy Advocacy & Recommendations
- Government policies are the fulcrum around which several developmental activities spring up and boost the economy of the country. Infrastructure is a major sector that propels the overall development of the state. Considering the exploitation by the middlemen in the raw material supply department; urban infrastructure progress is always hindered.
- Andhra Pradesh government should take learning from the Freight sector and Cement suppliers dispute in Raipur that led to huge shortage and price hike. Instead, the Infrastructure development sector of the state should bring down prices of steel and cement along with supplying an adequate amount of sand. It should aid to reduce the burden, that is borne by consumers and middle-class people.
