Today pollution has become a major threatening issue, a hazardous problem which is increasing day by day engulfing mankind. It is defined as the introduction into the environment of a substance that has harmful or poisonous effects.

If we want to save this planet, we have to focus on pollution control. Pollution prevention is a strategy for reducing the amount of waste created and released into the environment, particularly by industrial facilities, agriculture, or consumers. And pollution control is any of a variety of means employed to limit the damage done to the environment by the discharge of harmful substances and energies.

It is very important to protect the environment by conserving and protecting natural resources while strengthening economic growth through more efficient production in industry and less need for households, businesses, and communities to handle the waste.

  3. Avoid burning leaves, trash, and other materials.
  4. Avoid using gas-powered lawn and garden equipment.

Sweden was the best-performing country in CCPI’s 2021 rankings, earning high marks for its reduction in greenhouse gas emissions

Australia topped the list as the least polluted country in the world, with 7 cities in the top 25. Of the 25 least polluted cities in the world with the best air quality, Nordic countries (Finland, Sweden, Norway, Iceland) dominated the rankings with some of the cleanest air in the world in 2022

  • Finland – 5.5 µg/m³
  • Grenada – 5.5 µg/m³
  • The Bahamas – 5.5 µg/m³
